it was another great trip and this blog could go many places really - on other blogs - but for now, here's good. as before i over ate and still lost weight and as before quickly gained when i returned. the day i got back June 18th I weighed 240.5 - that's down actually despite eating way to much. i felt great about that - got right on my strict diet and drop the next day to 237. then it fell apart. one week later on june 25th i weighed in at 257 (20 pounds in one week) - it was excess water gain, part of it for sure and I'm back to 252.5 today - but that's it, it has to stop here - no more up and down - i just need to get it all off again and be done. So strict today 600 or less - starting today and i'll see it go down quickly. the rest of the amazing time in africa is coming.

just returned from kibera in kenya - 1 month there. can't believe i have neglected to update this for so long. ate way to much there but still lost weight. i'm pretty happy to back here (only because of the diet and weight loss situation) - miss the place and the people so much though. i'm starting back on my 600 calorie or less diet today - going to take off the rest of the weight then seek the surgery. i hope i see a 15 pound first week loss but not expecting it. we'll see. i'm still working the other projects but this one continues too.

i didn't make last week's goal of 264.5. it made no sense. i was totally on the diet and even on the last day (sunday) ate nothing. very frustrating as from Friday through Monday i was at 266.5 - late yesterday and this morning it finally showed a drop. 262.5 right now. 3 pounds to go to the next goal of 259.5 by this coming Sunday. on a positive note i have moved into that very sweet zone of not wanting to eat. love this, should be easy going forward.

2 pounds from sunday's goal weight of 264.5. that will mean down 20 in the first 2 weeks. it would be more if i could just really get to the goal of 600 calories or less. need to to do that. i'm on he 4th day of the 2nd week. i think i'm good, meaning on it finally. week three will see me down 25.

it's been a great week - lost 19 lbs. back on the 600 calories or less diet, that's the most in a one week period I have ever experienced. going forward i just need to stick to the plan. should then lose 5 lbs. a week. it's getting easier too, always does once i get use to the lower calories.
